Coffee Cupping Experience
Ever wondered how professional coffee roasters evaluate coffee? It all starts with a process called cupping. In this interactive session, you'll learn how industry professionals taste and compare coffees while discovering the subtle aromas, flavors, and characteristics that make every cup unique. It's a fun, hands-on introduction to experiencing coffee the way the experts do.

Latte Art Demo
A perfectly poured heart, tulip, or swan can make your morning latte look almost too beautiful to drink. But behind every design is a combination of technique, precision, and plenty of practice. Watch Mad Catter's skilled baristas demonstrate the art of milk pouring and learn what it takes to create those café-worthy designs.

Seminar: A Coffee Journey - From Seed to Cup
Every cup of coffee has a story long before it reaches your mug. Follow the journey from coffee farms to roasting and brewing as this seminar explores the people, processes, and craftsmanship behind every bean. You'll never look at your morning coffee quite the same way again.
Seminar: Making Better Coffee at Home
Great coffee isn't just for cafés. If you've ever wondered why your homemade coffee doesn't taste quite as good as your favorite coffee shop's, this seminar is for you. Discover practical tips on brewing methods, grind size, water, and other simple techniques that can help you make a noticeably better cup in your own kitchen.
Meet Jeff Wetzel of Mad Catter Coffee Roasters

Long before he was pulling espresso shots or roasting coffee, Jeff Wetzel was in the fields, harvesting coffee cherries and working through the milling process. What began as a desire to understand coffee at its source soon grew into a lifelong passion for the craft, inspiring the creation of Mad Catter Coffee Roasters.
For Jeff, great coffee has always been about more than technique. While he has spent years refining the art of roasting, brewing, and café operations, he believes the best cup starts with understanding the journey behind every bean.
His passion for education is at the heart of everything he does, encouraging coffee lovers to look beyond the brew and appreciate the people, processes, and care that make each cup possible.
Driven by curiosity and a constant pursuit of flavor, Jeff continues to explore the ever-evolving world of coffee. Through the Mad Catter Coffee Lab, he invites festival guests to discover that same sense of curiosity, one cup at a time.
All seminars are first come, first served and included with your ticket to the festival. Get there early because spaces fill up fast!
